afterschool circus CLUB

new openings fall 2021

PROGRAM description

For this second year of Afterschool, 406Cirque hosts a single group at the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture.

This weekly, 2 hour session will be for some kids an introduction to circus skills. For others, it will be the opportunity to continue developing those skills they learned during our summer program.
Each week, students will spend time developing technique in balance (walking globe, slackline and unicycle), juggling, aerial, tumbling, balloon sculpting and comic theater.

Tuesdays at the Emerson and open for kids entering 1st to 12th grade.

After 3 attempts to change negative behavior, (ie. not listening to instructions, not following directions or displaying disruptive or disrespectful behavior), they will be issued a time out. In this event, parents will be notified personally if possible at pick up, or by phone and email. Should your child’s negative behavior not improve, they will be dismissed from the program.
